Pesca España was created to promote seafood products based on sustainability, tradition and happiness.
Pesca España was created in order to defend our fish based on their national value as an economic contributor, as tradition, and as a fundamental element of a healthy diet. Our objective is none other than to encourage the consumption of Spanish wild fish produce, as well as to promote their dissemination and defense because of their quality and healthy nutritional values.
Pesca España is recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food as a national Association of Producers’ Organizations (AOP). With this, the ministry reiterates its commitment to promote and strengthen organizations with a relevant role in achieving the objectives of the Common Market Organization, as well as the proper management of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP).
We are an association formed by some of the most important fish producers’ organizations in the country, which make available to consumers the healthiest and most sustainable animal protein that exists: fish and seafood.
All of them represent important segments of the Spanish fishing fleet that are dedicated to the production and commercialization of highly relevant species, and are destined for home consumption of hake, monkfish, megrim and cephalopods; and for supplying the canning and processing industry.
